S & J Cutting
Our founder, Steve—affectionately referred to as 'Dad'—established S&J Cutting with his late wife, Julie, in 2005. With extensive experience in the logging and tree service industry, he has played a pivotal role in the company's growth and development over the years. Steve has consistently invested in new equipment and prioritizes supporting the community by providing job opportunities for local residents whenever possible. He remains actively involved in operations and can often be seen on job sites.
When you call, you will most likely speak with John. John is Steve's eldest son and is responsible for managing our day-to-day operations, including quoting and scheduling. He was raised in this profession and is highly regarded in the field for his expert climbing skills and innovative approach to the safe removal of hazardous trees.
Aaron is our go-to 'Jack of all trades!' He effortlessly operates all our machinery, both in the yard and on job sites. His efficiency on the ground helps keep our projects running smoothly and safely, and his extensive knowledge makes him an invaluable part of our team at S&J Cutting.
And last but not least, there's Tank, our foreman. He excels at providing comfort and diligently conducts daily inspections of our equipment for any unusual odors. We truly couldn't manage without him.
